10 July 2002 -- Secrecy Surrounding Relations Between ESF and EC.

New leaked EU request document: EU request to the US for full GATS commitments in higher education.
This addition to the EU's draft request list to the US has been tabled by The Netherlands, as evidenced from a letter by an official of the German Ministry of Economic Affairs. For now, these documents are only available in German.

11 June 2002 - A strong call for transparency in the European Union's preparations for the WTO services negotiations (GATS), issued by over 90 civil society groups from across Europe on 7 May 2002, is being completely ignored by the European Union and its member states.
